TGT PGT teacher recruitment is being organized by the Director of Secondary Education of Assam, under which the candidates’ dream of becoming teachers in high school and intermediate can be fulfilled.
Under this teacher recruitment, more than 8000 posts of TGT and more than 1300 posts of PGT teacher have been earmarked, under which eligible candidates will be selected and they will be given appointment. The last date for filling the application form under this recruitment is 15 November 2024.

TGT PGT teacher recruitment is being organized in the state of Assam, under that teacher recruitment, 8004 posts of TGT teachers have been kept and 1385 posts of PGT teachers have been kept for which this recruitment is being organized.
Application Fee for TGT and PGT Recruitment
Under TGT PGT teacher recruitment, an application fee of ₹ 500 has been fixed for unreserved category candidates, whereas for SC, ST, disabled category candidates, the application fee has been fixed at only ₹ 350, which will have to be paid through online medium.
Qualification for TGT PGT Teacher Recruitment
Under this teacher recruitment, the qualifications of the candidates for the post of TGT and for PGT have been determined separately which are as follows:-
To apply for the post of TGT, candidates must be a graduate with 50% marks in a related subject from a recognized institute. Apart from this, they must have done B.Ed approved by the National Counseling for Teacher Education.

Pay scale under TGT PGT teacher recruitment
Candidates getting appointment to the post of TGT teacher will be given salary ranging from minimum Rs 14000 to maximum Rs 70000 and grade pay of Rs 8700 per month and allowances will also be given.
Whereas the candidates selected for the post of PGT Teacher will be given salary ranging from a minimum of Rs 22000 to a maximum of Rs 97 thousand and grade pay of Rs 11,800 per month.
